• Stage 6 – Survival, ???
• Stage 7 – Skill Specialisation (Prof Sailor)
• Stage 8 – full Expert-1 (but with a limited skill set)

Now Deckhand(plus) with some raiding skills :) who is ready to move onto a more sophisticated (lets say Half-Pirate) role? Second Class and appropriate skills come in at Stage 9 - probably when you guys go to L6? Which gives you guys time to decide on sailor or shipmate.
